INTRODUCTION:

 Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce, eCommerce or e-comm, refers to the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks. However, the term may refer to more than just buying and selling products online. It also includes the entire online process of developing, marketing, selling, delivering, servicing and paying for products and services.
Galunggong or Mackarel Scad (Decapterus macarellus) can grow up to a foot in length and has a dark somewhat oily but tasty flesh. Fried galunggong and boiled white rice is the basic meal of that mythical seaside Filipino
Galunggong is an extremely common fish in Philippine waters and markets.
We decided to come up with this product because we’ve seen that many of us are love to eat street foods like nuggets, “tokneneng” and fish ball. We all know that these foods cannot give a good nutrient in our health. We proposed this product to promote the healthy eating habit. As of now we have to be very careful in choosing foods that we eat because many foods are contaminated with chemicals and it can cause different diseases.
          We should advertise this product through internet to educate everyone that healthy living is essential to person to do his/her work effectively. To inform everyone that there is nutritious and affordable foods like our product.


RATIONALE:

          We choose this product because it is very familiar with us, that round scad is one of the most important and nutritious fish that we have. The round scad is abundant and affordable in the market. There are some health benefits that can give to us.
We proposed “Special Bola-bola De Galunggong” to give you some different menu in your daily recipes. It’s very nutritious and surely the children will like it. And it is good to those people who budgeting their allowances because it is not expensive. It is affordable for them to reach the price of this product. This product is not ordinary; we all know that “galunggong” is fit for fried and “paksiw”. This is good to our heart also because it is rich in omega 3. A simple galunggong we make something special and delicious that surely everyone will enjoy to eat.


OBJECTIVES:

  • To attract prospective customer to buy our product.
  • To encourage everyone that eating healthy foods is not really expensive.
  • To provide customer satisfaction in terms of our product.
  • To earn profits.

BRIEF HISTORY OF PRODUCT:

The Round scad, Decapterus punctatus, is a species of fish in the Carangidae. It was described in 1829 by the French zoologist, Georges Cuvier. Although the Round scad is considered a good food fish, it is mostly caught for use as bait.
The Round scad is a cigar-shaped fish, with greenish coloration on top and white below. Their opercles usually have a small, black spot. The Round scad has nine spines on its dorsal fin and 30 to 34 soft rays. Their anal fins have only three spines and 26–29 soft rays. Round scad often have a yellow stripe running from the head to the caudal peduncle. The longest Round scad recorded was 30 centimeters long, which is not far from the average estimated adult length of 12 inches (30.48 cm). It is claimed that the heaviest recorded specimen weighed 300 grams.


PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Our product is made up of “galunggong”, this fish is very familiar with us. We add some vegetables and spices to become nutritious and delicious. There is no preservative added, and its all natural ingredients.
The brand name that we want to our product is what we called “klijempes Decapterus Round Scad” Decapterus means the family of the so called galunggong while the round scad is the English word of galunggong.
The objective of our product is to share this product because many people now didn’t realize and appreciate the importance of fish. So our objectives are to share some knowledge that we should take care of them because they are also the one which provide our daily needs.Were planning to position our product where customer is easy to access and could be encourage them to buy our product. 
    

PACKAGING:

          It could be place in covered styropome in take home ordered, in dine in order it could be place in rectangular paper plate to put sauce with stick.


INGREDIENTS:

1kilo galunggong fish,cooked and flaked
1cup finely chopped carrots
1cup finely chopped red unions
½ cup finely chopped garlic
½ teaspoon black pepper
3 eggs, beaten
10ml soy sauce
250ml cooking oil
1 cup flour




PROCEDURE:

  • Remove the intestine of galunggong fish, wash it thoroughly
  • Boil the fish for up to 10mins.
  • Remove the excess water and let it cold.
  • Remove the bone of the fish.
  • Combine first 9 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
  • Mold the mixture into your palm and shape like a circle.
  • Heat the frying pan with cooking oil, then fry the molded mixture until it becomes golden brown in color.
  • Drain to remove the excess cooking oil.

A 2007 study of nearly 12,000 pregnant women found that children born to mothers who ate more than 340 grams of seafood per week during pregnancy scored six points higher on tests of verbal IQ than kids born to mothers who had other foods on the menu. Fish oil appears to have anti-inflammatory properties, and has been researched as a treatment for many conditions including inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis. It also has some preventive effect for Parkinson’s disease.

 PLACE:

          Our specific target market place is in school campus of Pangasinan State University, in celebration of BMOA Day.


PROMOTION:

          In promoting our product, we use E-commerce because it is the cheaper and fastest way of promoting a product. It allows the customer to educates about the product by reading or watching the demo and download picture about of what you are selling.
